I'm sure I don't have to tell you how badly I feel for neglecting this blog, and my readers, for over 2 months....but I'll tell you anyway! Life just gets busy, and fortunately for my family, they are my #1 priority. In the last 2 months, we have sold our home and have been house hunting. I have been watching ridiculous amounts of HGTV and dreaming of the day when I can make our new house a home. We haven't found "the one" yet but we are diligently searching. Selling our home was extremely stressful, and during that time I really didn't have the emotional capacity to be creative. A few days after we *finally* closed, I whipped out my sewing machine and have been sewing like a mad person! I have been obsessed with the intentional act of re-purposing clothes. This obsession was made all the more intense by

School started mid-August! I now have a 3rd grader and Kindergartner....they grow up way too fast.
